The bartender service (while waiting for a table) was fast and the bartenders were sociable and knowledgeable. The food was good both times. The second time it was windy and even under the heaters it was cold (over Memorial Day weekend). They were short staffed on Memorial Day so half the tables were empty but it was a thirty minute wait to be seated and service was slow. The food was fantastic. Sushi was fresh and they have gluten free options. The grilled shrimp salad was delicious. The view is pretty. The drinks were tasty and well made.

Weiterlesen Three stars ONLY bc it's under new ownership. new owners will no longer have the rice crispy treats i had when i was a little girl. made me really sad.overall ratings: food: empty shelves i had to ask for coconut bread (2 , which was still good. not warm and fresh as it used to be, but still good. also got 4 macaroons, 2 pistachio (7/10 and 2 mango (2/10 total: 21.50 (damn.. ouch. inflation, i get it. service: 4/10 a bit slow. only one customer ahead of me, who also was sad to see it's under new ownership. took them about 20 min to hand me my two items which both were prepackaged. the macaroons were made and placed inside a small saline bag. glad to see that it was open. but very disappointed shelves were empty. and service... well, i hope they wrk on it. of course i'll keep coming. it brings many memories of my mom. really miss the huge cake display at the entrance and the cakes hanging from the wall.

Although menu is limited (no additional items or a la cartel options), what you do get is of high quality. Most disappointing aspect of the service was the fact that, given we were not French speakers, he made no attempt to assist us or make us feel otherwise welcome. An English menu option or at least a good natured attempt on both sides to communicate would have made the experience so much more pleasant.
