We had the spring rolls and wonton soup for appetizers, the vegetarian rolls were tasty, the soup was okay but found it a little expensive and for the main dish, I had the Singapore noodle dish. It was okay but Pho’s has them beat, hands down. I would go back if Pho is closed.

Weiterlesen I have had the pleasure of dining in numerous Chinese Buffet restaurants across Canada in the past 20 years and unfortunately I have to say that this one is the worst I have to say that this one is the worst I have encountered. Most...of the buffet items were lukewarm at best, with some actually being cold. Food items were not refilled when they were empty. I think that every one of the staff were as reluctant at being there as I was because not one of them even had as much as a forced smile. And for all of this lackluster occasion, I found it to be rather pricey to say the least. To make matters even worse, I ended up with diarrhea for the next two days

Weiterlesen A fine old building, a charming and conscientious manageress, well trained service staff, wonderful 'Wild ' dishes imaginatively designed perfectly cooked and presented, very reasonably priced wines, a calm atmosphere and the feeling when they are booked out and reluctantly turning people without reservations away, that...you are the only and very special guests... what is there to complain about? And these comments are based on a number of visits over the past few years, the most recent being two nights ago. A measure of the sheer professionalism of the mangement was experienced recently whe a telephone booking two days in advance was inadvertantly not transferred to the chosen day 's diary so no table was reserved for us and they were booked out. With a couple of minutes thought and no fuss at all madame whisked the reserved sign off a pleasantly positioned table and invited us to relax and enjoy our evening. She checked by us at least twice to ensure all was well and to reiterate her apologies and was at the door to bid us good bye. And she managed smilingly to accommodate all subsequent guests with reservations. Such style! Go there!
