03.01.2023 - 09:04We were in town for a hockey tournament and decided to make reservations for the team (boys age 10) and parents. We ordered ahead as the game schedule only allowed a window of 2 hours. We arrived ahead of time and were seated. The waitress...took our orders and noted the families by Jersey numbers. Drinks were ordered. I just wanted water with a slice of lemon. Well it never happened as they brought a carafe with ice and water in it and each person was given small hotel size glass, no lemon. The waitress said no problem when she took our drink order. Don't say that if you cannot supply. I had the chicken fingers (not sure if that was what they called them on the menu) with fries. When the meals came the chicken was way over cooked like they had reheated them several times. They waitress saw them and still delivered them. They came with a dipping sauce (the best part of the meal) in a small plastic container with ketchup also in a plastic container. I took a bite of the chicken which had to be literally chomped. It was so dry. It was hot (a good thing) but way over cooked. The fries were cold and the ketchup tasted watered down. Not sure which brand it was. The chicken you could see was overcooked and was a very dark brown. It was like eating wood. Don Cherry would be embarrassed to have his name attached to this order. Not sure what my daughter in law had but she and everyone at our table left their fries. The garbage must have been full of them. I paid and gave the waitress a tip. She was doing her part but should have taken the plate back to the Kitchen. We found out later that they didn't charge for the drinks which I didn't have, just the water. So they obviously knew they blew it and tried to compensate with free drinks. It was not a good experience. Sorry Don it was 2 thumbs down. Will not be going back or recommending this restaurant.

03.01.2023 - 09:04I was staying in the Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge and thought I would go into the pub. What a bad mistake!!! There were six other people in the pub at the time, and I was the only one ordering food. I had to more or...less jump up and down, to get the bartenders attention to bring me another beverage. I ordered the steak sandwich and the fries came out totally cold. The chef came out twice from the back to teach the bartender how to make drinks. I guess the owners don’t want their investment back from the way this bar is run.

03.01.2023 - 06:42I usually don't write a review for an almost food restaurant. we all know subway. I love the sandwiches and they are equal no matter where in the world. But this subway had some super friendly staff who stopped us where...nearly on our trip and was really helpful. so it really does.
