The tacos are usually really good but I’m not kidding when I say every time I’ve gone, they’ve been made differently. My tacos didn’t even come with lettuce this time?? I have never consistently gotten my tacos with everything they say comes on them which is always a hassle to try and fix. And they basically never get anything correct even if you put it in the notes. I put double rice no beans and they still gave me beans. One time they put double BEANS and no rice, when I asked for only rice. The prices don’t work for how bad the experience can be. So sad cause the food is fire sometimes.

Owner and her son bickered.. tables waiting for food for an hour. Them getting upset with a family that stated they can no longer wait. Clearly the owner is frustrated but she needs to deal with it better. Food was ok.. eggs over cooked. Just made us nervous to watch.

Weiterlesen Not only is the four wonderful here, but this is definitely the most friendly restaurant in Espanola. The staff treats customers like family. Food is great. I’ve had both the buffet items, as well as many dishes from the menu. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian, you will be overwhelmed by the selection of items. There is a nice selection of beers and wines. This is my go-to place. I frequent this cozy restaurant 3 or 4 times a week. After you try this restaurant, you will too. Everyone knows you name here!!! This is like Espanola’s Cheers.

Only confusion was not knowing I had to call since I told them I was there?! Got a free dessert- delicious turtle cheesecake! No mistakes in a larger order. Food was really good, packaged well. It has delicious food (especially omelettes but so much more, including delicious Native American fare, like Navajo tacos) and the waiters are so warm and inviting. Gallup is a fun, small town on the way.

Weiterlesen I very rarely review where I eat, but the Cross Keys will die a slow death if it continues like it is now. This place used to be amazing! New ownership and it just shows how a great place can turn bad. Rude staff, told our family to F**K OFF, but worst of all was the food. It’s just no good. Duck water melon salad was very bad. Watermelon off, almost no duck, tasted of cardboard and expensive for what it was. My wife’s pork chop needed a chainsaw and and axe to eat and the kids pasta was more like porridge. Avoid it till it improves! Loads better places in the area. Only good thing was the chap that served us who was a nice guy and did his best, managers were rude, defensive and insisted their food was great. All a shame as this place used to be epic on all fronts!!

Weiterlesen Cervantes can be a lovely place to dine.... depending on whether the waitstaff is feeling friendly that day. While having lunch in the lounge I had the worst experience with our waiter he was rude, did not refill our drinks, took his sweet time to get our check, and was just a down right ugly person. I vowed to NEVER put myself through that again. I have better places to spend my hard earned money!
