On busy evenings (i.e. fridays, saturdays , reservation is recommended. The style of the furniture and restaurant is not perfectly modern or up to date, but their strength really is on the table , not around it. True thai cuisine has a sharp taste and chilli note that makes you sweat, after eating the dish, very *slowly*, and from deep within, not burning in your mouth and quickly burning, bot slooowly starting, with, so to speak, long breath , like a fire, or oven, inside you. You sweat, and sweat a bit, almost, like in a full body workout. This, from time to time, is an almost priceless experience. So, yes, try Ruen Thai in Munich Westend Schwanthalerhöhe. They are open . Prices for the wine, which is quite good also, are slightly high, but, hey, after all, you visit Ruen Thai only every now and then, and have saved some dollars for this great evening. And then you enjoy the food, the wine, the hotness, the hot and spicy food and do not count every invoice item so closely. That is the right way to enjoy original thai cuisine in Munich, and Ruen Thai is a good place for it. Open every day from 6pm till 0:00 midnight, no rest day, but business lunch at cheaper prices only from Monday to Thursday. Weiterlesen Sowohl vor als auch nach meinem Aufenthalt in Tokio im Tenmaya fühle ich mich von den authentisch zubereiteten, qualitativ sehr hochwertigen Speisen immer wieder in die zauberhafte Zeit in Japan versetzt. Das Tenmaya bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Fisch, Fleisch, vegetarischen Gerichten und Desserts im All-you-can-eat-Stil sowie kaltem und warmem Sushi zu einem fairen Preis. Zusätzlich gibt es eine reiche Auswahl an À-la-carte-Gerichten zu angemessenen Preisen. Wenn man die Zeit reserviert, kann man sich auch in einem separaten, japanischen Raum ganz ungestört zurückziehen. Meine Favoriten sind das laufende Sushi, das viel günstiger ist als das À-la-carte-Sushi, aber genauso gut schmeckt, sowie das Kimchi und der kalte Sake. Das Tenmaya bietet ein Geschmackserlebnis, das alle anspricht.
