Weiterlesen Deffo last visit this time. I used to love Chatts café but that's gone downhill, Pearson and Hearn is small and very busy so its Tastebuds or nothing in Chatterton Road. I ordered a egg mayo and crispy bacon sandwich but got a baguette which was promptly changed, presumably by just scrapping the filling out and put in the sarnie. Not that great and not worth the money.The coffee is nice but what really put me off was the apron worn by a male member of staff; looked absolutely filthy. Even if its been washed and its old stains could you not buy a new one? And some for all staff.

Travelling down to the Bluebell railway for the day and getting desperate for a cuppa and brunch we found this oasis in the Sussex countryside. Just mostly pubs... Weiterlesen Travelling down to the Bluebell railway for the day and getting desperate for a cuppa and brunch we found this oasis in the Sussex countryside. Just mostly pubs around which weren't open yet. The tearoom is part of Perryhill Orchard farm which also has a craft shop, farm shop and butchers. Lots to choose from on the menu. We had a lovely breakfast and a bacon sandwich, 1 cappuccino and a small pot of tea. All extremely good, especially the bacon so I wish I lived nearer. May visit the area in the Summer so hope to visit again.

Weiterlesen There are so many cafes and restaurants in Bromley but I always seem to end up here; I haven 't been into one of the big 'chain coffee shops ' for ages. Nicks looks like just another café from the outside but there is a lot to choose from on the menu, from sandwiches and Paninis, roasts, burgers and other main meals. And always a 'special ' most days. The paninis are the best in Bromley and served with a delicious side salad. There are cakes too but I never have room. Nicks does get very busy and noisy sometimes but there is extra seating upstairs. Lovely staff who always say sorry if they forget your cuppa when it 's very busy! And of course the very charming Nick is in charge.

Visited today with my partner before we did a big shop in Tescos nearby. He's not usually keen on paninis but I persuaded him to try one with bacon, sliced boil... Weiterlesen Visited today with my partner before we did a big shop in Tescos nearby. He's not usually keen on paninis but I persuaded him to try one with bacon, sliced boiled egg and sausage which he said was delicious and very fresh. I had bacon and cheese; the bacon is especially good. They also do a nice selection of pasta. Fantastic coffee and lovely smiley staff. You have to order food and drinks at the counter, take a number and find a seat but it all seems to run very efficiently. Lovely lady with glasses at the till today!

Weiterlesen Visited Tuesday lunchtime this week with my daughter; thought we would see what its like as we love noodles! First impressions very clean but not very welcoming (I asked if the beef was spicy and was just told No) and it seems odd that there is seating in the food prep area. Lots of people buying the sushi and there is a good range of cold drinks. Total cost £16 for 2 including 2 cold drinks. We had Beef bulgogi (Korean beef stew) and chicken teriyaki, both with noodles. The chicken was fine but the beef was very bland and tough. The noodles had yakisoba sauce which seemed slightly spicy and not like the usual yakisoba sauce so it spoilt the taste of the noodles. Also the food was only luke warm, if that. So overall very disappointing and we would not visit again. They should visit a Wasabi sushi and bento place like the ones in London and at Bluewater, far better! Delicious noodles and chicken yakitori.

BLT sandwich had pre cooked back that was microwaved and salad not good either. Waste of money! Will not visit again

Y tuve un sándwich de atún y pepino con ensalada en el lateral. Un montón de relleno! Agradable personal sonriente, buena comida y buena relación calidad-precio. Justo lo que debería ser un café. El aire acondicionado es muy bueno en esta ola de calor.
