Weiterlesen The restaurant itself is lovely, staff were friendly and service was good. Overall, an average meal for a higher price than an average priced meal, in a nice setting. Food was generally good, but not great. Prices were high for what I ordered. For example, 5 small pieces of Calamari, no bigger than a 10p piece each, served with some rocket for £9?! And why oh why do restaurants allow dogs?? Not only for hygiene and occasionally noise, but some people, like me, are allergic to dog dander and hair. In a local pub, maybe acceptable, but in a restaurnt that costs £50 a head for a 3 course meal, erm, no thanks!
