Had to ask for large plates so the food would fit on. Felt we were ignored for a long time because we weren’t Sri Lankan or Indian.

Weiterlesen I thought I would really like this place. The ambiance is nice, the tables are appealing and we had mostly good service, with a friendly waitress. The staff do look overworked. The fondue we had was very average. The bread was neither hard nor soft...and tasteless. I have made better fondues, but it was edible. HOWEVER, we were sitting in front of the open kitchen, and near where the head chef was plating, serving and barking out orders. He regularly put food from the counter back into serving bowls with his bare hands chips, raw meat, cooked meat, whatever. He wiped his hands on his apron in between and also wiped his nose with his hand without washing them afterwards. The lack of hygiene was astonishing. I would not go back.

The seafood starter is not to be missed, nor their signature pasta, and deserts. I think I could have even...eaten all the vegetarian meals too. The service was outstanding and the owner spent time with us too. Their wines were a perfect match and make sure that you visit the cellar cave before you leave. Amazing! I’m guessing , but it’s once in a lifetime treat here at this beautiful villa......
