As we entered the bar no one acknowledged us at all, we then sat down at a table that looked free and couldn’t find a menu. We then asked the bar staff and they just pointed to another customers table and said take that one. Then the rudest waitress I have ever experienced come over to our table. Never said a word and looked us up and down, we ordered our drinks, again nothing said at all she just left. Brought us over our drinks and rudely put them on the table not saying anything and shoved our things out of the way almost hitting everything off our table. At no point did this waitress even crack a smile. This was our second night in Tenerife and everywhere else prior had us pay for our drinks as we go. We then waited around 15 minutes to order another drink. No one came over. We then mid conversation needed to use the restroom and went to look for it and couldn’t find it. Stupidly we totally forgot we hadn’t paid and the second we started walking down the stairs we were screamed at By the waitress that hadn’t spoken to us at all the entire time we were there. it was a genuine mistake, we would never dream of stealing from anyone and in front of the whole bar she screamed at us calling us thief’s more than 3 times. At no point we’re we given a chance to explain, we were so apologetic and she continued to scream at us and call us thief’s in-front of the whole bar. The second we realised we immediately headed back upstairs to settle the bill and we were laughed at and looked at us as if we were scum by the waitress who served us and the manager . The most humiliating experience I have ever had and I would never ever go back there even if that hadn’t happened at the end as the staff were the rudest people I’ve ever experienced and they were clearly talking about us and pointing at our table. I feel like from the second we walked in they judged us and labelled us. It seems to be if you’re from the UK this is NOT the place to go. Shocking service and the staff members who dealt with us shouldn’t be working in customer service as that was the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere. We are two younger women and we were shaking by the time we headed out as we were in so much shock to have had any situation dealt with in that manner. If you want to pay over priced cocktails with the rudest staff ever then this place is for you.

No nos pudieron servir porque nos dijeron que ya no tenían cocinero. Pedimos un mojito y la supuesta encargada asi se nos presentó nos lo preparó y realmente estaba bastante malo. No fue una experiencia muy agradable.

They also have the best rolls/butters, selection of drinks and appetizers. We came to fried pimps and a cactus blossom! The cactus blossom is 100% better than outbacks.

Best reception and service I saw everywhere. Thanks Silvia and Eva. We had a great apartment, corner 3rd floor. Loved the excellence restaurant and the wonderful service there at breakfast and dinner (I just miss the lunch time there and the salad buffet, but understand the changes). Great location, cleaning teams are amazing. Thank you to the Hovima team!
