Weiterlesen We have been to Japan and I’ve been eating sushi since 1982. It’s not a treat for us it’s part of our diet. This is without a doubt the most authentic and absolute best Japanese sushi and sashimi bar. We have been in while in the US. If you were to be blindfolded and taken in there, open your eyes, when sitting, you would swear you were in Japan. Once you try the food, especially the tamago , you know, these chefs are absolutely without a doubt master chefs, who deliver a crafted art form versus some posers who pretend to know their stuff aprox 98% of them are not Japanese nor have they studied under Japanese chefs . IF you truly are a Japanese food aficionado , don’t miss this. And if you think you’ve had sushi and it’s been made by people that also serve Chinese ,Korean or Thai food in the same place WRONG!!! You got a try this to see what real Japanese food is. It’s cultural not just slingin hash. If you’re within 100 miles of this place, you’re a fool to not come here. We have eaten here every day we’ve been here we don’t care we offend , if they want steak or local whatever , we just keep going back there.

Recommend the Lup Chong roasted rice! The atmosphere was not remarkable as it was in a ballroom and felt like a cafeteria. It was easy to overlook, but because of the quality and well made food.

Weiterlesen Located at Industrial part of Kalihi, small mom and pop restaurant. Waiting can be a while but the food really worth your while. We went for lunch on Saturday, there are 3 people waiting in line before us, we waited for 30 mins and when we got called in, there are ice tea already waiting on our table for me this is really thoughtful because after waiting outside we are getting thirsty) we ordered sweet and sour spare ribs, mochiko chicken and saimin. Lunch comes with salad with house dressing and soup and said ice tea. Food comes in big portion but because they are really good I don’t share my food this time. They accept cash only, parking is available in the garage but limited number, we park at the street. Price is really good for Honolulu area. I saw Anthony Bourdain photo when he came to visit and eat here and also his autograph, very cool!
