While at a week-long downtown convention, my wife and I had a short but profitable late afternoon Monday visit to the Casino de Montreal and decided to spend some of our winnings on a special dinner. I contacted BIS and was welcomed without a reservation even though the restaurant is normally busy most nights. The meal was even better than the gambling which preceded it. The veal and wine paring (I AM Aria Matteo Domodimonti Marche 2016) were wonderful. Although not on the dessert menu, the kitchen made up a fresh fruit plate which topped off the evening. Friendly and engaging service. BIS means encore in Italian and if we lived in Montreal, we would definitely visit it again!

Accueil sinistre, un sourire de bienvenue serait agréable. Cocktail alcool jamais vu aussi médiocre. Assortiment vapeur nul de nul. Plat principal acceptable mais sans le raffinement qu'on attend de la cuisine. Flan thaï sans intérêt. Je serais étonnée qu'il y ait une cuisine dans ce restaurant. très grosse déception.

Enchanté de ce repas, les portions sont généreuses et nous avons apprécié nous-mêmes, la valeur pour l'argent instable! Je recommande les yeux fermés

My go-to cafe in Parramatta, service and food is always consistently great. The Spanish baked eggs, egg benedicts and ultimate/vegetarian breakfasts are delicious. Have tried the French toast, which is good if you're craving sweet but not their best.

We drove to Lyon to spend 6 days enjoying the Bouchons, and other tourist attractions such as the secret passages and the silk workshops. Our journey was much quicker than expected, so instead of sopping at a freeway fast food joint we pushed through to...have a late lunch in the city. We had to wait to check in to our accommodation, but needed parking nearby. When drove past Frite Alors my student daughters said the place looked popular, and full of happy young people. We got lost after exiting from the underground parking, and took 20 minutes to find the restaurant. On a Sunday afternoon there were not many choices open so we persevered, I am so pleased we did. The place was full, and there was a party ahead of us, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The staff were cheerful and explained they were very busy so there would be a delay with the food, but drinks were served quickly once we had placed our orders. The wait for the food was worth it. My Mother had fish and chips, nothing fancy but done very well unusually she ate all the fish, the portion of chips was too large for her. The students each had a burger, which they both devoured with relish, enjoyed the fries, but could not finish them. My wife and I did what we usually do, split our mains. A Texan burger and a Savoyard poitrine were our choices. The burger was good, but the poitrine was pure comfort food, absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, harried but efficient and cheerful. The atmosphere was convivial, with several large groups of people enjoying themselves. Feedback on the loos: they were large, clean, a bit of graffiti, soap but no hand towels and the hand dryer not working. In summary a youngish vibe, though we were not the only middle aged people. Affordable, tasty food, a great antidote to the funk of having to check in late on a chilly autumn afternoon. We will return.

Cool renovated redfern pub with large American food and taste. if they are looking for a place to meet friends for a drink, this is a good option.

I'm not one that really ever reviews to do, but eating was terrible I ordered a T-bone with a pfeffer sauce and it was muddy and rough the sauce didn't taste something like a pfeffer. my mother, who visited sydney, ordered the ribs she had with food poisoning, without saying they seem to have been reheated - roughly sloppy. Service spot was nice enough, but eating was terrible.

Great atmosphere as I could sit in this small courtyard all day. great service and friendly atmosphere. as far as eating is concerned, I recommend the winter veggies on polnta w salsa verde wow a solid as for cheeseburger hubbie does not like the soße, but unlike that of standard sydney quality. would give around for super doggie friendly. I'd like to go back and forth.
