Weiterlesen Usually, I order cakes from King Soopers, which are very reasonable and usually done very well, but for the extra special occasion of my sister's retirement, decided to order from Cakes by Karen thinking I would get a very professionally, beautifully decorated, delicious cake. I discussed all the details with Val, and even sent a picture of the decorating I decided on. Much to my dismay, the decorating on the cake was not at all what was discussed or in the picture I sent! Unbelievable! How can you not decorate a cake according to a picture that is provided?? The picture I submitted was a cake with lavender, pink and yellow flowers. What I received was a cake that was decorated in all purple no pink or yellow flowers! How difficult can it be? For the exorbitant price charged for these cakes, this is unacceptable! Val did offer a $30 credit toward another cake. Considering the price of the cake was $106 for a half sheet cake, a $30 credit seems in adequate for their incompetence and my dissatisfaction. I am just baffled how, with a picture right in front of you, you screw it up! Despicable!! Also, the cake itself is no more exceptional than a cake from King Soopers. In fact, I think cakes from King Soopers or Safeway are more moist. Unhappy customer! Get it together Cakes by Karen!!

If you don't care how the cake tastes or costs as long as it's beautiful to look, then cakeheads is the place for you. otherwise stop at tony’s. they have very attractively decorated cakes that are delicious and not even come to break near the bank.
