The cook is friendly, the food is good and the price is incredibly affordable. What else would you need? Naturally I tried the fried rice with sago worm. There are 3 other ways to prep it, but I decided to start with the fried rice version. The fried rice by itself is delicious with good amount of oil and flavors. I surprisingly enjoyed the sago worm. It was well cooked with a nice creamy and juicy centre. I didn't eat the hard head and it should be popped into your mouth and eaten whole. I just tried to cut one of it to satisfy my curiosity of its interior. The kolo mee is equally well flavored. It comes with a good mix of pork oil, aroma and a generous portion of minced pork. The noodle is also well cooked and nicely chewy. PSA: Langkau can be ordered by glass even though the menu prices it by the bottle. I would have loved to try their tuak but they didn't have stock that day.
