Weiterlesen Had to make a run West across the bordering state of 84th St today, so we grabbed an early dinner. I *thought* we felt boujie, but nope... I should've known that when the guy behind the desks asks if we have a reservation, that we just don't... belong...... there.. HOWEVER... we did stay, and took advantage of their happy hour menu! Ordered the Bianco Verde pizza (just one size it looks like , and then I asked our waiter what drink he liked and why... and I ordered his recommended Tiger Blood Mule-Up. Thankfully it wasn't burned and it was throughly enjoyed as the heat wound down. The PIZZA was an olive oil base, with a shit ton of arugula (peppery taste if you aren't familiar . Four cheeses, a beautiful thyme flavored cream and even better prosciutto. The cheese pull was superb, but the bottom of the pizza was so soggy, you were forced to use a fork (sad day! . The balance between the salty, peppery, textured choice was *ok*. Not terribly sure I'd even write home about it. The DRINK, was the perfect blend of mixed fruit, a tangy ginger, a bit of strawberry on the back end and a cool, refreshing amount of sweetness to balance the bitter. Anyone else love how the copper cups freeze over at the bottom? I do! Now had they had a spicy mule, I'd be ALL over that. But if you decide to go during happy hour, I don't think you'd be disappointed with choosing it. Or maybe just ask your waiter/waitress what their favorite drink is and order that! For the two of us, we spent $31 plus tip.
