Weiterlesen I was in on Thursday 21st October and was asked by the staff to go into the toilet with them and empty my pockets which I complied with and after emptying my pockets I had nothing on me and hadn’t taken anything but then the staff asked me to leave as I was “too steaming”. If I was “too steaming” surely the staff members would’ve asked me to leave at the first instance rather than taking me into the toilet and embarrassing me in front of everyone. I was able to talk without slurred speech and I was able to walk fine. My friends that I was there with were even surprised I’d been asked to leave because I was “too steaming” as they thought I was fine (which I was). At no point did the staff mention I was barred from the venue. I went out on Saturday 23rd October and entered the venue for a whole of two seconds before the same staff member pulled me back and then said “naw out” I asked why and he said to the bouncers “that’s kyle Kennedy naw” to which the door staff went “oh alright okay”. I tried to ask the door staff for a reason as to why I wasn’t allowed back in the venue and they said “we weren’t on shift we don’t know” but they did know and just weren’t giving me any reason whatsoever. I then asked if I could speak to a manager to try and get a reason as the door staff couldn’t give me one and it was the same staff member who said I wasn’t allowed in who came to the front door to speak to me. I asked for a reason and he got up in my face as I feel I was hitting a nerve with him and he said “look you’re just no getting in. I don’t needty give you a reason alright”. He was getting aggressive and rude with the way he was speaking to me when I wasn’t giving him any of the rudeness back. I’m sure his name is Martin and is a member of management. I don’t understand what I’ve done to warrant this sort of treatment but if I was “too steaming” surely that isn’t a valid reason for me to get barred from the venue indefinitely.
