We were never offered bread and were charged for a bottle of water when we asked for de l'eau, others received tap water. We felt a little exploited. But the cheese was pretty good and there were many cheeses, potatoes and charcoal. They were quite busy, but the service at the table next to our (French citizens) seemed superior (to us as an American, although we speak French and have lived in France for many years). Dessert was fine. Would go back, but don't expect anything funny.

What a wonderful place! as soon as we came in and the waitress commented on the purple of my friend we knew this would be a friendly, relaxed and pleasant place... Weiterlesen What a wonderful place! as soon as we came in and the waitress commented on the purple of my friend we knew this would be a friendly, relaxed and pleasant place. the upper floor bistro is really well designed and relaxed. eating it was so difficult to choose. I went for the duck and bubble, with my friend for the seafood pasta. we couldn't resist a garlic pizza on the side. all tasted fresh. the duck was a joy, but it was the white bonsmaic and the roasted carrot I loved most. I had to have a panacotta later. there is no image as it tasted too good! all were served with a glass homemade limonade and a pint of purple moose ale. the service was raised. super friendly and helpful. we will go again and we are already on the clock to wait to go to lunch again!

I had the lamb and duck dishes and was surprisingly boiled definitely recommend they have to book in advance, how not much sitting options, but a table is her for the whole evening, not pressed to eat and go. the lady who waited the table was also brilliant! (they didn't catch their names, but very bubbly/funny and had glasses)

Beyond that we had something to eat, my was a speck, eier and wurstbap, but it was so much more. all, including the brot was so fresh, the speck perfectly cooked, the cloby chips so delicious and freshly made and obviously the drinks were great. I forgot to mention the location is beautiful and the intention was breathtaking from the beer garden.
