The Sunday roasts were excellent, generous portions and delicious (could have been a bit hotter) and the children's version of the roast was brilliant, my kids wolfed their lunch down. It could have been a relaxing experience, minus the kids! Desserts were excellent as well. Service was good and the staff were pleasant, and the pub is decorated very well. I would recommend The Paxton!

The chicken salad had a sesame vinaigrette, but a little toasted sesame oil would have made it more flavorful. The prawn salad green goddess dress had no flavor. We ordered three of the four desserts and they were all delicious. I only eat outdoors due to Covid risk, so Due to the street noise level I will not return.
