And the place was not crowded, we sat on a side bar table and the hostess was downright nasty, telling us You can 't sit here and never even offering to put us on a list, or find us a seat (as I said, the place was not full and the bar table where we tried to sit (which was a long hightop) had empty seats. So we put our names on a table list, hoping to get a bar table. Because we were two, and waiting for three, the second hostess then told us coldly we won 't sit you until your whole party is here Let me be clear: it was not so much what they said but how they said it. It was as if they found joy in being bullies. The food was meh anyway. The firecracker shrimp looked unappetizing. (see photo) They were not crispy, looked like they came from a can. Not bad, but not good. They also will not serve your appetizer first, they insist on bringing your whole order at once. Again, so many rules...and the place is not that great.
