Weiterlesen Our first trip to this Restaurant. We couldn't fault the service nor the food. The nacho's starter was a lovely layered mix of chilli, salad and cheese, which i was hoping for. We both enjoyed the main of fajita's. Our first visit to this restaurant wont be the last. Thank you.

Weiterlesen Toulouse as a whole is an underwhelming city. I would say that my three days were completely wasted there if it had not been for this restaurant. Au Buron is in every way possible a one man show. The same man greets you, seats you, takes your order and cooks your food. The speciality of the house is aligot , a local dish nearly impossible to find in Toulouse restaurants due to the labor intense nature of the dish 's preporation. Regardless, Au Buron makes the most incredible Aligot (a potato/cheese dish). All elements of the two meals I had there were perfect. My boyfriend had the Aligot soufflé, which was well prepared and delicious. The sausage and aligot (the classic way of serving the dish) was also wonderful. I had a chicken in a sauce that was genuinely indescribable. This is an excellent restaurant and almost worth a brief stop in this underwhelming city. This restaurant is very well priced and portions are more than generous.

Weiterlesen Have been going here for many years and it is by far the best Italian restaurant around. Homemade pasta, great fish, lots of variety on the menu, and a great wine selection (it’s also a wine store and they sell various Italian food products). It’s a nice atmosphere inside and they also have very pleasant outdoor seating. The service has always been good. And parking is easy and free. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Die Kuchentheke im Erdgeschoss war sehr einladend, das Servicepersonal im KAFFEE war sehr nett. Der Kaffee war von Julius Meindl und alle Sorten waren lecker,egal ob Latte, Milchkaffee oder Capuccino. Die verschiedenen Torten raffiniert, ein Traum für Liebhaber von solchen Schweinereien. Da das Café als leckere Confiserie beschrieben wurde, wollte ich schokoladige Leckerbissen für meine Lieben mitbringen. Alles, ob Pralinen oder Schokofiguten sahen lecker aus und hatten einen stolzen Preis. Das bin ich gerne bereit zu zahlen, leider war die Dame im Verkauf nicht sehr freundlich. Somit hatte es einen bitteren Nachgeschmack. Schade eigentlich. Da jeder mal einen schlechten Tag haben kann und die Produkte mir sehr gut geschmeckt hatten, bin ich wieder ins Café mit leider dem gleichen Ergebnis: gute Produkt mit wenig freundlicher Bedienung. Schade, das passt für meinen Geschmack nicht zusammen.

Weiterlesen From start to finish this dining experience was terrible. We made reservations and traveled over an hour for a birthday dinner. We waited more than 30 mins just for drinks and when they didn’t all come, it took another 15 for those. God forbid you asked for a refill. Meanwhile another big group is seated, served drinks and bread within 10 mins. The server had a terrible attitude the whole time and management helped zero. It’s not about food comping, or this or that, just basic respect and courtesy while people are giving YOU business.

I had read a review on the Ibis that said why go to a rubbish American diner when you can have lovely French cuisine but sometimes as a tourist it's nice to have a break from that too! 10 of use had starters, mains, desserts and some great beer with no complaints at all (perhaps from the two guys that decided to get the death burger for the free t-shirt and struggled to finish but otherwise all ok). Even the salad was great and very filling. Service was the usual laid back French style but once in holiday mode that's all good. A decent meal, would return.
