The staff knew everything about the food and the wine they served, and when I was fed alone, I thought for a quick chat a few times between serving other people who felt incredibly welcome. Worth a visit when you are in Townsville

The service from staff was fantastic throughout our dining however once we had finished dessert , they left us alone which meant that we were never asked if we would like a further drink before leaving. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the food delicious even if expensive. A nice treat once in a while.

Not even an acknowledgement to say someone would be with us soon. I understand friday nights get busy but this is just poor service. When someone finally came over we were pointed to a table in the corner. Not even ushered over. The table had not been set and still had the last guests mess on it. We then had to fight for the waiters’ attention all night and were given a tiny table (4 people) that could barely fit the 2 pastas we ordered, let alone the two pizzas. We had to sit out two bottles of water on the floor. The food was ok and the price was fine, but I would not recommend anyone here based on the service alone

This evening we decided to visit Frankie Benny's for dinner and we're glad we did. On arrival we were greeted by Rowan who would be our server for the evening.... Weiterlesen This evening we decided to visit Frankie Benny's for dinner and we're glad we did. On arrival we were greeted by Rowan who would be our server for the evening. We were a party of five, one of which was in a wheelchair. She swiftly showed us to our seats and handed us our menus. Once our food was ordered there wasn't a long wait at all until our food was sitting in front of us. The food was lovely and Rowan was helpful, happy and smiley!!

I must say the food is nothing special. We were not given what we ordered 2 times and when things eventually came, they were burnt in some cases, and in others,... The pizza I chose said it would have lots of meat on it, being a fan of meat I was looking forward to it. However, when it came there was a sparse scattering of not particularly nice pieces of sausage with peppers, which I specifically asked not to have. However, the atmosphere wasn't too bad and the restaurant looks quite nice inside. My opinion, give it a miss there are plenty of other, much nicer, Italian restaurants in the city centre.

Weiterlesen Nice enough place with pleasant staff. despite my work during my visit, the staff were attentive and the service was quite fast. the toilets and the bar were clean and it was a decent atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon. eating was ok and my only real complaint were small things like toast served without butter, no salt in a spicy stack and options on a brunch deal that they did not store. I would definitely return.
