I took into account that individuals will be slightly different than what I'm used to from my native country. But I didn't sense any negativity from this place or the people in it.

Then again, their menu offer a lot less items than every sushi restaurants I've been to. Their service was alright, this review is mainly for the food. I only order nigiri that night, the other stuff are not important. 1) all the fish, squid and octopus was not fresh, it's not that they turn bad but it's just not fresh, and u can tell by just looking at it, and of course it didn't taste that good. If u had fresh sashimi and nigiri before, u can automatically tell the differences. 2) the nigiri rice is terrible, kind of dry, like overnight rice. Definitely not soft. 3) I had a surf clam, while I was chewing on it I discovered there are sand in it. Still, I politely swallowed it and try not waste any food. I don't know if that was their slow day or what, but still no excuses for such amateur presentation. I am still puzzled by the fact that they have 4.5 rating at this restaurant lol. I guess it's just bad luck for me.
