They have an excellent selection of wines from the region which were reasonably priced. We went the next night and had a selection of lovely tapas and a bottle of red both were very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable liked this wine bar and will return if in the area again.

Weiterlesen The authentic food and location, set in the hills near the country town of Andratx make this a welcome diversion from the glamour of Port d'Andratx. The menu del dia offers authentic Mallorcan fayre and so is regularly enjoyed by our family who live in the port. They were with us on this occasion so we were able to draw on their knowledge of Spanish/Malloquin language but the staff also speak sufficient English to explain dishes if necessary. A veal carpaccio was nicely dressed and seasoned; Monkfish stew was hearty and full of flavour and the Iberico pork was presented attractively and creatively in a roulade. Given we were in Mallorca, it seemed appropriate to finish with a Crema Catalana. Coffee and wine were included in the menu del dia which reinforces the excellent value of this meal. A menu del dia can sometimes provide a basic meal – but this was top restaurant quality which would not be any better and cost many times more in the port!
