The food gets worse every year and the prices get higher. Very poor quality food and exorbitant prices. I think Center Plate should take a page out of the book... I think Center Plate should take a page out of the book of the food service providers at Monmouth Race Track in New Jersey, very high quality food and reasonable prices. Someone from Center Plate should take a look at their menu and try to replicate it at Saratoga. I don't know how NYRA lets them get away with serving such awful food. I intend to contact NYRA to let them know personally about my experience. Also, there should be a dress code for the Club House patrons. The sloppiness of the people who are admitted to the clubhouse is totally unacceptable. It's okay for the grandstand crowd, but not the clubhouse. There used to to be standards for the clubhouse, but they are totally gone. I've been coming to Saratoga for thirty years and since Center Plate took over, it's gotten worse every year.

The food is overpriced and there is not a great selection to choose from.

My cauliflower steak was fantastic, and my husband's sablefish was very tender. Dessert was a delicious chocolate bread pudding. Cocktails were very good as well. Sauvignon Blanc was ok. Overall a wonderful dinner!
