Weiterlesen This deli was a nice experience, albeit the wait times for food coming out could be a bit shorter, but they are always busy so I don't fault them for it. The food was pretty good! I had a nice burrito and before I had a corned beef pastrami, both solid meals!! I'm excited to try more of their foods. But one thing that made this a 4 instead of a 5, I asked for hot coffee and was served a very cold, old cup of coffee. It was fixed after 15 minutes but still, the lack of awareness bothered me and it's pretty easy to catch something like that. I'll definitely still be eating here and if you're in Scranton, stop by and try them out!

Weiterlesen We are frequent diners at Catherine and Mary’s. Frequent for us anyway but this most recent experience was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had in any restaurant in the world. We had friends in from Atlanta and they couldn’t believe Memphis had 1 a cool restaurant in a cool space 2 the caliber of the culinary execution 3 the perfect service Thank you David!!! You were phenomenal . This random Tuesday night with good friends we rarely see was made magical by our experience at Catherine and Mary’s. The cannellini beans, always perfect, started off the meal and surprised our friends who weren’t convinced we needed to order this dish. Well after they savored the first bite they understood the magical beans!!! And then couldn’t stop appreciating the flavors and creaminess. There was lots of conversation around what herbs, what’s the subtle spice. All kinds of recipe envy. We family styled the beans and everything else that followed. David, our table host, did an immaculate job of describing and recommending the pasta offerings. All homemade in house. I didn’t know they also make their own ricotta in house. The scratch made pastas were sublime. The Gnudi oh my goodness. Again our friends weren’t sold on this worried it would be too overwhelming cheesy based on David’s detailed description But nope they didn’t know quite yet this isn’t Olive Garden, no sloppy cheese oozing pasta here. Nope, it was perfection. So subtle in flavors and the homemade ricotta pasta topped with the smooth light sauce was heaven. I can’t remember the names of the other two pastas but they were just as divine. One was ravioli-ish in that it was a small stuffed pasta, again the sauce was amazing and had yummy walnuts maybe. Anyway, so so so so so good The special that night was a medium rare large cut of beef don’t remember the name of the cut, where is David when you need him? served with a side of fresh greens and small boiled yellow potatoe

Weiterlesen I’m from out of town and had the lovely duty of finding a restaurant for my friends and I within an hour or two of going on a Friday night (ugh). This was one of the only few restaurants that had the seating availability at the time we desired and I couldn’t have been happier to stumble across it. We sat outside; the vibe and our server was great (I wish I remembered his name). The food and drinks were good as well. I had the Mac and cheese skillet, which was green and fun lol, as well as there wings.
