20.02.2023 - 19:33Below Average Joe’s! I really wanted to enjoy this meal. Unfortunately the fundamentals just weren’t there. The disappointment begins as soon as you walk through the door as you are greeted with unpleasant smells. While difficult to describe it just smelled unclean. What did NOT greet you was a well staffed hostess stand. Walk into many other local restaurants (Bonefish, Coalfire, Outback, etc) and you are immediately greeted by one if not two smiling hostesses. At Joe’s the hostess seemed to be a manager who was absent. Back in the kitchen or busy managing something else. A properly staffed and managed restaurant knows the importance of not having a ‘jack of all and master on none’ trying to mismanage and disappoint. Next, the host asked us to wait while he insured our table was sanitized. Much appreciated. Except the table was sticky and didnt seem clean. My son informed me there was something sticky next to him in the booth. The table had a pronounced slope so the waitress cautioned us to be careful with our drinks so they don’t slide on the floor. She wasn’t kidding as throughout the meal we noted our glasses slipping towards the edge. Speaking of floor, there was a hunk of brick hard dried table bread under our table too. We went to the restrooms to wash ‘the sticky’ off my sons fingers and that was the end of any chance we would be returning. The bathroom was what I would expect from a downtown bar at 2am on a Saturday night. Smelly an unclean. It left you feeling as if the whole restaurant was dirty. The food itself might had been tolerable provided everything leading up to it wasn’t so repulsive. In real estate the 3 rules are location, location, location. In restaurants the 3 rules are presentation, presentation, presentation. The plating of the food was okay. But the restaurant itself did not present well. Smell, cleanliness, bathrooms, booth quality, the whole experience was bad. Overall the food was unremarkable. Waitress was superb!!!

22.01.2023 - 04:34The food was exceptional. Meatball appetizers to die for. My wife's branzino deboned and delicious. Very homey and acommodating. Took extra orders home to London enjoyed it so much.
