Weiterlesen Eight years ago, I was an international student setting foot in La Rochelle for the first time when something unexpected happened—I couldn’t reach my housemate or the landlord. My friend and I were left outside on the street in the freezing night. By chance, some kind strangers brought us to this restaurant to rest. They offered us a plate of food and even invited us to join a birthday celebration. That moment has stayed deeply in my heart. I am truly grateful for the warm and friendly people who helped us; thanks to them, I was able to contact my housemate and finally enter the house that night. For the past eight years, ever since I returned to my home country, I have always remembered that moment and wanted to express my gratitude, but I never knew how. Today, as I found myself thinking about La Rochelle again and happened to see this restaurant on Google Maps, I felt incredibly grateful for the opportunity to thank my benefactors once more. This was our first time at this restaurant and we did a take out. I was looking for a good wing place and this place popped up immediately on yelp. I read the reviews and my goodness we tried it and BABYYYYYYYY them Geechie Wings did not disappoint. My husband got the pork chops and they were great as well. It was so much we couldn't even finish which will make a good snack later. We both had Mac and cheese. He had orka soup and collard greens my goodness again . We will definitely recommend and will be back GREAT JOB!! Great customer service as well. Then the top of the mountain was KOOLAID yes koolaid in punch peach and lemonade. The koolaid was very good not overly sweet but just the right balance. We will definitely be back!! Too greedy to take pictures.
