Weiterlesen Will someone PLEASE open a nice Chinese restaurant in Bedale!!! The old Spar premises further down the high street would be perfect! This place needs putting out of its misery and closing down. We live in Bedale and very very occasionally go for a takeaway as there is nothing else close by and just keep hoping that things will improve, but sadly not! They have a Food Standards rating of 2 which they don't display (surprise surprise). This should be mandatory in England!

Weiterlesen Loved our stay at the Horseshoes, surprisingly busy pub in a beautiful rural setting. Felt like one of Yorkshire's best kept secrets, set at the head of a beautiful village. The pub caters equally for walkers and heritage railway enthusiasts. We stayed in a comfortable over the pub room, we appreciated all the little extra comforts such as the wool throws. We enjoyed all the meals we had from a hearty breakfast to the wonderful fish and chips in the evening. Charlie was a professional and welcoming host backed by a great friendly team.

Weiterlesen My friend and I usually dine here once a month and up until now the food has always been outstanding and the staff pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately this time it wasn't the case. When the waitress asked if everything was ok we informed her no it wasn't the chips were not fresh they had been reheated. She tried to tell us they were fresh and they weren't as good as usual because it was between potato seasons!! As both my friend and I had worked in catering for over 30 years we know what reheated chips look and taste like so much for customer service, shame on you.

I asked for no beans on the big breakfast it came out with beans, the sausage was tasteless and very cheap....They came out and said sorry there is no tomato and no black pudding...........excuse me but there is one of your shops right next to the cafe! Was only after hubby had half eaten his large breakfast he realised there was 3 hash browns missing as well. Mind you mine were soggy and stuck together. Everything was shocking not even worth the government scheme price!
