Weiterlesen Our second visit here for Sunday Lunch with our daughter (uni student) A really fab Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Portions are great, food brill and all staff are really friendly. We didn't feel rushed in any way. Can't recommend this place enough. A great meal, great service and really reasonably priced. We will be back again on our next visit to Sheff.

However, the dishes and drinks arrived immediately, the service was very efficient and courteous and our party was all very satisfied with the entire experience.

Weiterlesen The Broughton Inn is a pleasant pub with traditional wooden beam interior, as you would expect in a rural historical building over 150 years old. We visited a Pre Mothers Day meal with my parents and since in their eighties it was good to see that access was easy for them. One thing they commented was that the parking was difficult as there were many commercial vans taking the parking lot and they fought to park somewhere. The food was very good and safe good value for money. The waitress who served us was pleasant and attentive. The only criticism we all agreed was that the surrounding music was a bit too loud. I'm sure it wasn't harassing the other guests, but for us it was a little difficult because my parents are both a little hard to hear. Apart from that, I would certainly recommend visiting the Broughton Inn.

It was not reserved, so there was no reason to move us, but he set us the other end of the restaurant for reasons that are best known to him. Food was acceptable, but not fantastic. The prices were on the high side.

Weiterlesen We have been to the Fleet on many occasions and usually found it a good place to eat. However this time, the table that we booked through Open table had been lost on the system; thankfully they found it and the table had actually been reserved. There was one menu on the table and there were 6 of us. There was no wine list and we weren 't offered one. The website quoted that from the Friday specials board, if you ordered fish, you could quote I love fish and you would get a free 175 ml glass of house wine. The waitress did not have a clue so had clearly not been informed. Two of the party had a very tasty dish from the specials menu, sea bass with risotto. However the portion size to be honest was tiny, there wasn 't much risotto and the sea bass looked like it had been cut in half, mine was honestly about 4 x 2 . I know the waitress was on her own but the pub was hardly busy. Very disappointing on this occasion.

Spent my anniversary at Blue Bell and it was absolutely delightful. Had a selection of tapas gorgeous food, very flavoursome. Sangria was the perfect compliment... Weiterlesen Spent my anniversary at Blue Bell and it was absolutely delightful. Had a selection of tapas gorgeous food, very flavoursome. Sangria was the perfect compliment to go with it. Their desserts were absolutely brilliant too both in display and taste!
