Weiterlesen I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but I did like this one for a couple reasons. First, the bar. A Manhattan and a Kentucky Sidecar with the veggie flatbread made a nice snack while waiting for our movie at the Palladio 16. The drinks were good, not craft, but good. The flatbread was tasty. The 2nd reason is, Chops is a great place to hangout while waiting for your movie.

Weiterlesen We came for an anniversary dinner. Our first date was at Cibo 7 so it seemed appropriate. We’ve enjoyed this restaurant in the past and this night was no exception. The service was impeccable, with our server (can’t recall his name) very attentive but not hovering. The food was tasty, but to be honest, not prepared to the standard of excellence we’ve experienced before. Although the seafood special barracuda was nice, the salmon was slightly undercooked. For dessert we ordered creme brûlée which arrived surprisingly fast. Yet the crust wasn’t firm and crisp, and the custard was cold at the bottom. Not enough of a deal to say anything and risk disrupting a romantic evening, but still a little disappointing. I chalk it up to the kitchen being off their game on a slow Wednesday night. In terms of value, Cibo 7 is pricier than most other restaurants in the area. Nice for a special mean but not regular dining.

Luckily we found another Italian restaurant nearby with no wait. Bad form for them to take our reservations while closed.

Weiterlesen I generally make my own pizza but enjoy a good thin crust pizza cooked in a high heat oven. First, the service wasn't great...slow to come to our table, gave my wife a canned drink with no glass or straw and never came back to ask how the food was. The pizza was fabulous, thin crust cooked perfectly, tasty sauce, right amount of cheese and tasty toppings. They don't have one of my favorite toppings pepperoni but they do have this very delicious salami that was unsure of when I ordered. Totally worked and very good. We will be back!
