Weiterlesen My wife and I are new to the area and recently made the walk over to La Pinta after driving past it a few times. It was a Wednesday, early in the evening, so it was fairly quiet. The owner came out to greet us personally. His English was fairly good, which is lucky because our Italian is still very bad. He introduced the establishment's philosophy and some of the classic dishes from the area. We opted fro the strafoccia, which is a house speciality and grabbed a pint each of whatever beer was on tap. The strafoccia was satisfying and tasty, and managed to be pub food that managed to be very fresh tasting and not greasy, which is a novel idea for anyone who's eaten at most pubs in the US. We will be returning back to La Pinta often!
