My friends and I decided to watch the grand final 2022 at the Sydney Junction and order a meal. Three meals did not arrive and on enquiry we were told they were... Weiterlesen My friends and I decided to watch the grand final 2022 at the Sydney Junction and order a meal. Three meals did not arrive and on enquiry we were told they were probably eaten by another patron. We were offered a free drink and our meals were ordered a second time only to not arrive a second time! When a second complaint was made and directed at the manager (without swearing) about the poor service we were told that other patrons have experienced the same and were told by the manager she has low staffing and has kids!?! About 30mins after the complaint once the game was finished we were asked to leave? Worst service ever.

The setting of this restaurant is absolutely lovely, at the beach. Also the music gives it a vibrant atmosphere. The food is average. The staff however is poor.... Yesterday we were given hardly any attention. The big wine waiter walked around with an attitude trying...to sell people expensive wines. Once he even grabbed one of our (used) wine glasses without explaining, because he was too lazy to get a clean glass for our neighbors who wanted to taste wine. This was the most appalling thing I have ever encountered in a restaurant.

Ideal for a lunch break (oysters) and for a bottle for the afternoon or evening. excellent selection of wines. but they don't expect a bargain at this place.
