Weiterlesen My girlfriends and I had a lovely dinner here a couple days before Christmas! We decided to have the Chef 's menu (Menu Atelier), with the wine set, and it was an excellent decision! Each course got better and we were left pleasantly full at the...end! Because of my shellfish allergy, I was treated to Le Bolet from the à la carte menu, and I sincerely recommend it! It was one of my favourites from the meal, though the veal was also wonderful. The atmosphere was tastefully festive and intimate; our server was attentive and friendly; and though the price of the meal was high (this *is* Switzerland), I would say it was worthwhile. Everything was really nice and I will certainly be back again!

Weiterlesen I used to frequent this restaurant ten years ago on a regular basis. It was always well reputed for excellent food and good service. The restaurant has had a complete overhaul to modernize it and it is a pleasant environment. They have tried to move...up the service by having an abundance in the number of serving staff. This works well in a 3 star Michelin restaurant where the staff are experienced and know their job but here it does not work as they are not. The menu has a nice selection but for the quantity it is extremely overpriced and I had a 30% reduction from the fork. They are trying to be something that unfortunately they cannot achieve presently. I believe that they would be better to try and be less design in how they present the food and actually serve what it suggests in the menu. Such an example is the dessert, Vacherin which is an ice cream and sorbet gateau with meringue but they serve it deconstructed so a scoop of ice cream and sorbet and some broken meringue and some fruit. It was also unfortunate that the fruit came with an insect in it and some raspberries had mould on them. This can happen in summer and to be fare they did not charge for that plate. A real shame as I was really looking forward to the same standard of quality but it is no longer there.
