But all was redeemed by the excellent Simon Spillett Qrt tonight, 60s bebop at its very best, especially the Tubby Hayes numbers ... energetic and delivered with passion by Simon on tenor sax. Alex Bryson piano terrific too as were all of the quartet! And btw the Youngs Special bitter £5.35 a pint was lovely as well. An enjoyable night out.

Most of the time places say their wings are hot and at best I'd call them medium spicy..... the carolina reaper wings were nice and spicy just how I like em' and deserving of the name hot wings! Well done Hell Pizza.
