I ordered a waffle with nutella, and it came overtoasted, the middle part being completely hard and ineatable. Then after I paid and was walking upstairs to use the toilet before leaving, a waitress with short gray hair told me that I could only go up if I was going to eat something here I have to add that I am a white 36 year old female with green eyes, I was dressed in jeans, blue jacket, blue scarf, boots and carrying a small backpack, so that no one thinks that maybe I looked like a homeless person or something like that and might want to justify her behavior (not that her bevahior would be justifiable towards a homeless person, but still). I said I had already eaten, to which she replied ‘then you can go’. Exactly. She said that I SHOULD LEAVE THE RESTAURANT. Not quite understanding what was going on, I replied that I was going to use the toilet. Then she probably realized that I had eaten in her restaurant, and was not going in just to use the toilet without ever consuming anything, and nodded. All of that happenned in German, but I understood pretty well what she was saying. I don’t recommend to anyone ever going there I certainly won’t and the food itself is not even worth the terrible treatment given by the people working there.

Weiterlesen This is a popular local restaurant from me, but the quality of food and service was not up to its pre-ab level. Our waiter has no training. Constipated third of the bottle of our Prosecco when we opened it and screwed it up a little bit later...but we had to ask it at the end of the meal and were then presented with a glass between us. When I asked for another glass for my friend, he was holding back to tell him that my equivalent is what he spilled! I insisted and he finally brought another smaller glass. My seabread bowl small and on a bed of something devastated, crappy salad, left me hungry so we wanted to see the dessert menu. I'm gluten-free. The waiter said I couldn't eat anything. I asked for her usual ice cream, but he said they didn't have one.... later a bowl brought to my friends' plate, which was much smaller than usual, pudding. Unless we won't come back!

While we have visited Venezia for years as a favorite for Italian food, we have recently said that it was the best secret in New Orleans for a great steak espec... Weiterlesen While we have visited Venezia for years as a favorite for Italian food, we have recently said that it was the best secret in New Orleans for a great steak especially on Wednesday night. We tried and were impressed. The restaurant had an updated facility that was comfortable and family-friendly. The steaks were excellent, just as cooked as we demanded and served sizzling on the plate. We ordered a Caesar salad that was enough to share with all four of us, and the steak came with elections from sides that were all excellent. An item that was surprising was the absence of a baked potato, but we didn't miss it. So the verdict was indeed a welcome surprise, excellent steak in a New Orleans restaurant that is not known for the steak... that is until locals like I share this experience with family, friends and visitors. Look at Venezia, new friends looking for a steak are on the way.
