The guy who served us was very friendly and we didn't have the feeling of waiting at any time, despite the fact that there were many occupied tables. We have been delighted!

The Design and Wine was our last night and we had got rid of the kids for a proper sit down meal rather than the pizza abundantly available in the square opposite. The restaurant is part of the hotel and we decided to go straight to the main. This area has patchy taxi services (they're tucked in to bed by 9.30) so we had the house red which was not to bad. The translation on the english menu is marvellous. My Turkey Milanese was fairly standard but my wife opted for a chunk of beef and potatoes. The description was apt as the hunk of beef indeed was. One for the boys looking for a fill up. I admit I was struggling with the very abundant Milanese by the end the chunk defeated everybody. That all said we only paid 40 euro for a cover mains and a drop of vinho, not something you'll find closer to the main cities. Not busy for a Friday night but we were early so we could get back to Porto the next day.
