And Stanley’s reminds me of it very much. If you want some great fish and chips...you’ll get some at Stanley’s in Brooklin.

While most all of the places I remembered have slipped by the wayside, partly due to the high cost of halibut and a change in ethnic make-up, Chubby's has managed to hang on and prosper. The thing that I love about Chubby's is the portion size of the Halibut! An order of halibut and chips includes two pieces (one big one little) and a generous portion of chips. Keep in mind that the fish is a nice big thick portion and is not all batter! Sure they offer other types of fish (haddock cod) but splurge and go for the halibut, and watch them cook it fresh for you! Thanks Chubby's!!

Weiterlesen This once fun atmosphere taco restaurant is away mountain. food quality has been considered as a once favorite (LA truck tactical) have now been made with low quality and lack of taste. the “service” was very bad. our most important courses came before the appetizers and even before the chips and guacamole. there was no place on this little table for eating and felt like we were rushing, eating and going. very poor. we paid $200 for two people, avoid them.

For example, if the prefixed set dinner include a 6 lb king crab and...they end up getting you an 8 lb crab, you have to pay extra for those extra 2 lbs at a hefty price $45/lb). You can also ask them to cook the seafood with a different style but need to pay extra surcharge. Overall food is excellent since seafood are freshly cook, just make sure you bring enough cash since you may have to pay extra. FYI, fresh seafood weight is actually more than the cooked weight due to the water weight. ie. 8 lb live crab doesn't have as much meat as an 8 lb frozen cooked crab from the supermarket.
