I walked in to buy my 2 nieces an ice cream with a coffee cup in my hands from another establishment with no labels showing. My nieces had each a clear slushy cup as well. I was planning to buy 2 ice cream for my nieces to go. A store worker approached us to say “we don’t allow outside drinks here” to which I replied we are just ordering to go. The worker replied “just letting you know” and shrugged her shoulders. Now explain to me how you expected me to grab the outside drinks and go wait outside while my underage nieces order? Especially when I as the adult was paying?. In the service industry I completely understand that they have to enforce their rules but but the way you speak to others matters.

I got the crab cakes over risotto. I liked that the crab cakes tasted fresh and mostly like crab meat no real filler. The risotto was nice. Well cooked but there was just something missing in the dish. My wife got the Orrechiette with broccolirabe and sausage which she said was well cooked as well but a little bland. Healthy servings on everything. The staff was super nice and pleasant very helpful but I think a little training would take this restaurant to the next level they were a little sloppy with not knowing who ordered what and placing glasses down in precarious spots that could easily be knocked into if clients aren't paying attention. I am definitely coming back here.

Weiterlesen Today I came past the new Trattoria Via Veneto for dinner for the first time! I took my aunt for the 72th birthday and my parents, all born and raised in Italy. Taking them out is always a challenge! Fear not because the menu is delicious and the service was top notch! I had the calf piccata and it was perfect! The best side potatoes I've ever had that came with my entree were spiced to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Appetizers were as delish as we tried about 4 different types to dessert. Look at my photos, as I can't even describe enough well, was the food. The surrounding area is ideal for a quiet evening for a date or catch up with friends. Can't wait to go back! Our waiter Deepak was super attentive and friendly!
