And I've had a few... This place is 40+ mins outside of Oaxaca and definitely worth it. You're greeted by tortillas fresh off the comal with local queso and a signature red salsa. We sampled the guacamole and ordered a few apps...all were fabulous. Then, the main course, Chiles en Nogada... the nut base cream sauce had the right amount of sweetness, not too sweet, as many have been. The meat combo inside was done to near perfection. Coupled with fresh tortillas and a mezcal tobala and you're done! The ambience is outdoor open indoor. Lastly, the service is top notch (Felipe was our guy! . An added bonus is the alebrijes gallery across the street, another must visit.
