Weiterlesen Reservations mean nothing at Rio Mambo! The food can't make up for terrible service! Choose another restaurant. I made reservations for 8 on the patio for my birthday several days in advance. I left work the day of the reservation and went to Rio Mambo to assure that everything was in place. Juan was the acting manager and I told him that it was my BD and we had reservations for 6:30 on the patio for a party of 8. We went to look at the patio and I asked if we could have a less busy area to the left and he said he would put three tables together on the left hand side. He assured me everything would be ready. We all arrived on time at 6:30. Juan was at the entrance and we could see that the patio was pretty full and there was NO set up for us. The area that Juan had told me he would set up for us was full of another party. He was not concerned at all nor apologetic. I was very confused and concerned. Juan was nonchalant. He said he would set up something for us. We waited for over 15 minutes. Finally the girl led us to two full sized tables with a small table for two added to the end. This meant that 3 of our party was going to have to crowd around the small table which was uneven with all the other tables. My son and I agreed this would not work and my son, along with a server, moved an empty table to replace the small table for two. Juan made it obvious that he didn’t like what we did and we only saw him one other time during the evening when we asked him for silverware. I will say that our server was friendly even though there were errors on two of the dinners. Our He was helpful and polite. Juan never offered one word of apology, explanation, or check on us the rest of the night. Quite the contrary, he had the opinion that we had inconvenienced him. He felt no responsibility for neglecting to do what he said he would do. We sent an email to the restaurant and they didn't bother to respond.

The deviled eggs were unbelievable. We really enjoyed the brussels sprouts side. The steak special was cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough about the decons...
