As other reviews have also noted, the dishes they serve are very much local. We ate there this afternoon, and after having traveled around southern Italy for six weeks now, I must say that the dish I had was the best I've eaten anywhere on this trip. And that's saying a lot, because it's hard to find a restaurant in Italy, even the most humble, that doesn't serve food better than most Italian restaurants in the U.S. We've had nothing but good food, but the ravioli di ricotta con sugo di funghi cardoncelli was absolutely divine. The cardoncello is a local mushroom, and I don't know if that was what made it so good, or if it was the sum of the other ingredients. The sugo was tomato-based, and when I saw it I wasn't expecting the rich flavor it presented from the first bite. They had a salsa piccante, which I added to some of the ravioli (homemade that same day, by the way). It was even better. If I'd had more room I would have ordered a second plate. The house wine was also very good, and the prices are very, very reasonable. One way you can get to Le Rocce, by the way, is from Castelmezzano, hiking the Passaggio delle sette pietre, We weren't in good enough condition to do that, but if you happen to hike that path, what better reward than lunch at Le Rocce.

La più buona che abbia mai mangiato a Valenzano il tagliere non è stato da meno..............davvero abbondante e superlativo Eccellente il rapporto qualità prezzo Ci ritornerò volentieri Super consigliata!!
