Weiterlesen When I worked near The Goddess and Grocer, I would go there every single day for lunch. I usually would get a cup of soup and a salad from the salad bar. The soups are delicious. I'm a vegetarian so I appreciate that they have at least one meatless soup every day. Their website lists the daily soup schedule. The salad bar is great, very clean, and they constantly refresh it. The staff are all very nice and friendly. For a sweet treat, they have lots of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc to choose from. My favorite is the Oreo Rice Krispie Treat! I will definitely come back again the next time I'm in the area.

Both the staff member who took my order over the phone and the one who delivered my order were polite and friendly. They estimated 40 minutes until delivery and that was spot on. I ordered the vegetable egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, and egg noodles with vegetables. Everything was so delicious and the portions are good sizes too. My fellow vegetarians will be pleased that they have a good number of meatless options. I also ordered the almond cookies, yum! Definitely give Fried Rice Express a try!

Weiterlesen Ovie Bar and Grill is a great place to stop in before you catch your Metra train. You can get a drink to go, or sit in the bar and relax. They have happy hour specials which are great. I will often grab a beer or wine and take it for my train ride. There's also a great menu if you want to stay and eat. Pub grub and more. In the summer, you can sit at a table outside and enjoy fresh air. Service is usually fast. If there's a big party going on it might be a bit slow. And when it's time to get your train, you just go right up the stairs to the platform. Overall it's a nice chill place!
