Saggy old bed, tired furniture, curtains and bedding, big old TV, alternately scalding/freezing shower while standing in non-draining ankle-deep water, no sink counter or shelf for toiletries, Tired old place. But clean. Don't recommend staying here. We are here because of room block for family funeral. Extra depressing, staying here.

The table next to us was a little chatting, but not loud enough to be disturbing. The gentle piano music did not distract the conversation. The food was excellent, it really takes a lot for me to call a meal excellent, but the swordfish was elegantly prepared and not too dry. The braided beef was delicate and moist with a rich sauce and beautifully presented on the plate. I think this is the best food in Bar Harbor. It's expensive, but not from cleaning.

The gnocchi is very tasty, they have made from sweet potatoes or banana-da-terra. They also offer two vegan sauces, the Sugo or Jackfruit. Very recommended.
