We ordered veg samosa, eggplant dish (the name escapes me jaam something), and prawn curry with Goan spices among other things. The chutneys served with the food and palak curry was one of the best ihave had in the East bay. The selection of icecream and herbals is decent. Must visit!

Other than the hours, the food is good and the service is smooth, I don't expect speed, since they do make everything to order, which is great and the food is always hot.

I 've been back time and time again since first discovering it, and so have others I 've brought with me... And I 've also done take out when I 've been working late and catch them right before closing. The tortellini Michelangelo and the chicken parmigiana are my favourite so far although my mom was visiting and had the ricotta ravioli and that might be next on the list to try... The restaurant is lovely and cozy and has that truly local or neighbourhood favourite feeling where it seems many of the different tables know each other. I love that. Thank you Cafe Figaro for being amazing!
