Weiterlesen Great little gem in Denver considering the demographics and its location in a midwest city. Has great staff and owner that are actually from Canton. Food is decent for its geographical location. Service is excellent- Cantonese style (friendly, prompt, and on the ball). Awesome evolving Chinese menu and you can order Chinese style. Their cooks are great because you can verbally ask for something and they will do it properly. If they can’t, they will let you know instead of making a crappy version of it. Great selection of live seafood- lobsters, crabs, prawns, and different classes of grouper. Cooked properly. Yum Chai (Dim Sum) is better than most in Denver but every dim sum place here has some dishes that are better than others. The place is busy so you don’t see a lot of the normal size carts. But this place has authentic hard to find dishes that are Vietnamese-Chinese place just have never heard of. The best thing about his place is they do not even bother with mid western American tastes (lack of tastes). Does not over salt or MSG their food to satisfy their cravings for high blood pressure strokes. Go there in big groups for dim sum or you will be on a 45 minute wait list on weekends. Definitely, cater to Chinese people but you are starting to see huge diverse groups.

I had the green Chile sausage breakfast Burrito with hash brown. Delicious! I definitely go back. I ate at the counter and there were strawberry rhubarb pee, my favorite pee, on the counter near me. It called my name. If I hadn't been so full after the Burrito and Haschbraun, I would have had a disc. Next time.

Compared to pre-covid Piattis has lost most of it 's appeal. The staff, hostess and server were brusque and unfriendly. The food and menu didn 't come close to... The food and menu didn 't come close to the old offerings and some of the entree servings were small. The salads were nice. One of the desserts was describes as Sara Lee . No valet parking. The tables were jammed together and it was very noisy. We used to love Piattis but doubt if we will be back anytime soon.

Store was really clean and really organized.The awesome employee who prepared my sandwich got it down to perfection and handled my transaction like a pro.
