Weiterlesen I am not often moved to write a negative review but my experience at Parea was wholly unsatisfactory. The confirmed booking was for 6 people but the restaurant had put us down for a table of 4 we were then squashed into a corner which was very difficult to get out of. We waited too long for drinks- 30 minutes from arrival. The drinks order was incomplete and we were charged £13.50 for service. We actually refused to pay it a second time when we received our second round again taking a long time to be served and having to ask several times. Customer care was almost non existent unless you were clearly a regular. There were very drunk and loud youths spoiling the atmosphere. I had lived in Alderley for many years , I still own property there and had come back to visit and was so disappointed as the lovely feeling of our village was not in evidence in Parea. I will not be returning to this establishment.

This is a fantastic pub in a not so great location Morley Street bit tucked away . The food is OK just typical pub food . A little over priced for what you get... Weiterlesen I booked this as a celebration for my mums birthday. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar, which was all good. We went over to the restaurant in time for our booked time of 7.30pm only to be told that there was no record of my booking. The young woman who first dealt with us seemed a little phased by the situation and one of our party asked to speak to her supervisor. Another young woman arrived to deal with the situation. She remained deadpan whilst informing us that there was nothing that could be done and that we could come back 2 hours later. My mum is diabetic, so this was not an option. We were not offered any sort of compensation so we left to dine elsewhere. Needless to say, this put a damper on the celebrations and we won't be returning to Tiger Tiger.

The rest of the food was...also really good. The staff were absolutely lovely and proper looked after us.

Weiterlesen I’m afraid to say my experience today was terrible, I was there meeting 6 other friends for lunch. I ordered the cheese and chutney sandwich on white. It arrived with grated cheese in a quite dry and very thick bread which if you attempted to...pick up fell to pieces, the chutney was in a separate dish and was just enough to go on one half of the sandwich. I would have been happy for a cheese and chutney sandwich on normal bread purely as a sandwich no need to have chutney separate I wouldn’t have ordered it if I didn’t want the chutney, it came with a side salad and the coleslaw which was ok. Why grated cheese! I have visited here many times before and haven’t experienced anything so bad.
