Weiterlesen We went to the Hotel Restaurante San Miguel for dinner. The dining room is downstairs and when we arrived at 9pm we were the only customers, however by 10.30pm it was starting to fill up. We opted for the 20 euro menu which includes wine etc. My wife had fish and I had the cochinillo (suckling pig). All the servings were huge. Highly recommended.

We were four people at the table, and the waiter brought us only one small dish of appetizers that contained 6 pieces of lomo and breadsticks, for 4 people, so... Weiterlesen We were four people at the table, and the waiter brought us only one small dish of appetizers that contained 6 pieces of lomo and breadsticks, for 4 people, so that wasn 't the best start of the evening. The Guernica burger was quite big, full of flavour and the papas bravas on the side were divine, meanwhile the Pio Pio burger was flavorless even with the caramelized onions and goat cheese. Overall, it was a pretty good experience if we forget about the incident with the appetizers.

Staff are nice. My issue is the price of the steaks for the money. We ordered a 200g eye fillet and a 600g rib eye on bone, both medium rare. They both came out... Weiterlesen Staff are nice. My issue is the price of the steaks for the money. We ordered a 200g eye fillet and a 600g rib eye on bone, both medium rare. They both came out bleeding into the rest of the food on the plate and...the eye fillet was rare while the rib eye was blue. Rib eye was sent back and came back rare not medium rare. I couldn’t be bothered sending it back again after also waiting 25 mins for the bottle of red we ordered. Had to ask twice for that. Anyway…don’t charge $50 for a steak if you can’t cook it properly.
