We waited one hour and ten minutes. We observed guests arriving after us being served dinner. We received apologies multiple times but no meal. We paid for our drinks and appetizers and left.

The outside is also pleasant! The waiter was very nice. Overall the experience was great! I can't understand why I've never been here, even when I came back for three years.

So good or better than the best meat cuts I enjoyed everywhere in the world. From Minneapolis, only I wished I lived closer to enjoy the lookout fantastic food and service more often. Far, far superior as the Bar Grill Art food you can find in most places. Fantastic value, especially given the overall quality of lookout and relatively low price for its menu selection and bar drinks.

Weiterlesen Let me start with the good first. The atmosphere was perfect, waiting for sitting was not very long, and some items we ordered were delicious. But the experience I had was terrible. Once we sat and had placed our food order (incenseed ham eggs Benedict, hash and eggs, pancakes, rice and beans), we waited for AN HOUR to come for our food. Our waitress never informed us why it took so long. She only took our order, brought our drinks, and the next time she came by was to deliver our food an hour later. Apparently the normal amount of time to wait for a meal in this restaurant is 50 minutes, but I was totally unaware that. Like everyone. So my friend and I just sat on our table for an hour, not communication from our waitress and wondered why it took so long. When our food came, I asked why the food lasted an hour, and she gave me an icy answer along the lines of ?we?re a chef today, so there are only 2 cooks for the whole restaurant and it usually takes about 50 minutes anyway for food, but sorry?. Well, my friend and I are the most understanding people, we both worked in restaurants and the service industry in general for several years, but sitting down waiting for an hour for brunch? Without knowing why it took so long? That's not cool. We would have asked our waitress why before, but she never checked with us so we never get the chance. It made us completely uncomfortable and didn't want to be a guest in this restaurant. We also talked to the manager because we really felt like we had no good experience, and he cut us off and we paid and left the full price on the bill. We really wanted to enjoy this restaurant if someone had told us that it would take at least 50 minutes average for meals to get out, we would have been more prepared and understanding. When our waitress came to tell us that they were short staff and the kitchen lasts longer than usual, no problem at all!! I was there! I totally understand! But only the way we were treated was honestly uncomfortable and unacceptable. So many more spots in Maine that are really friendly with you and you feel welcome. Don't come here.
