Weiterlesen So, I almost don't want to receive this place because I don't want to help awaken everyone who has been sleeping on Sushi Hana and make it too difficult to get a table!!! (Selfishly, of course) Sushi Hana is reliably fan freakin tactic. It is a traditional sushi joint. Nothing fancy, no frills and you can order a sushi boat for your table that comes out on a well sushi boat. It very much reminds me of a nondescript sushi place you'd find in the suburbs. HOWEVER the sushi is so fresh I'm convinced someone here has sold their soul to the devil to get the best fish. And it's not just a one off, we have dined in and ordered out multiple times and every time it it positively divine. If you want classic, traditional sushi and/or sashimi this is the place you must try. I feel like I have tried just about every other popular sushi joint in the city and this is far, FAR and away the best. Go here, order all the rolls and enjoy! They also have some really special salmon. Order it sashimi if you're into it. I usually am not but a friend got it and I now religiously order it and save it as my dessert because it's like butter melting in your mouth. Not to be missed! If dining in: I cannot say enough about how nice the service is!! Celebrating? Running late for your reservation? Taking too long to decide? They will still greet you with a smile, seem legit happy that you are there and provide you with attentive and thoughtful service. I actually prefer having my sushi at home to pig out on with all the sake I can stomach, but I truly enjoy coming here because of the people who work here. Dessert is simple but they have red bean ice cream!!!! You guys! Why can't I find it anywhere else? It's my fav so it is like the best cherry on top of the best sushi cake. If you're thinking of going anywhere else for sushi, you're making a mistake. Sushi Hana is IT. Tip: make a reservation if you're going for a fri or sat night or for a group larger than 2. It's small and getting popular. You could find yourself waiting to sit.
