Weiterlesen This was a refreshing change to a bunch of boring, repetitive menus that we saw in the area. Downside might be a pretty small interior area for dining. Menu items might be too unfamiliar for someone seeking a really standard American breakfast (which Iam biased against). Items all seemed homemade which was what we had been looking for the whole trip. Also one of the few placesthat served beverages in mugs rather than to-go containers. We didn?t wait long for food. I remember the menu being heavy onmeat and eggs, and maybe not the ideal spot for a vegan or someone seeking dishes focused on vegetables. Corned beef hash wasgood, breakfast sandwiches were good, some interesting potato cube things were good; like a better tater tot with a noticeableherbal flavor. Go here for something more interesting that the usual breakfast spots. Pricing was also reasonable from what Iremember.

Open view of the kitchen offers a nice feeling of trust. We were seated and waited for10-15 minutes before we had to stop and ask a server if we could order something. Place wasn’t that busy so I assume it wasjust miscommunication. I also vaguely remembering not receiving water or needing to ask for water. I ordered a $15 cocktail thatfelt/looked like 20mL— gone in a couple sips; ask for no ice to avoid getting scammed by half-sized, partial servings ofcocktails. Also made the mistake of ordering green beans and not noticing the word “battered,” so I was surprised when theyshowed up deep fried. Those were nasty, don’t order them; ended up in the trash. I saw some comments about undercooked burgersbut mine was fine. Pricing seemed standard for the area, except those tiny $15 cocktails. This was just another mediocreexperience during our trip, which became a theme. I don’t know where the 5 stars are coming from, I would look elsewhereunless your staying in the Bay Club and want convenience and don’t care about price. I will end on the positive note that Idid see at least one mocktail on the menu so that’s a meager bonus if you are avoiding alcohol.
