I was convinced that it was a vegetarian place, so it was confusing when after the discussion with my limited German and staff limited English it turned out that it was meat in the menu, now I see it was introduced recently.

Wir haben das Pulled Pork, das Brisket-Sandwich und das Philly Cheesesteak-Sandwich probiert und dazu den Pandan-Mule und den Peach-Pound getrunken. I came across some other hostility towards English speakers in Castelnaudary - they obviously don't like having all the foreign canal boat people in town, I suppose it would have been funny if we weren't hungry.
